Grayson initially signed with AEW back in early 2019 along with his tag team partner Evil Uno but Stu exited the promotion in May of 2022 after his contract expired and both parties failed to agree on a new deal. He was a popular member of Dark Order, impressing in large multi-man matches with The Elite as part of Hangman Page's quest to become AEW World Champion. He found himself primarily utilised on AEW's YouTube shows during his final months with the promotion, however.

Since his release, Grayson has wrestled on the independents, primarily in Canada. He did recently reunite with Evil Uno in House of Glory, losing to The Briscoes.
