Former WWE IIconics File Trademark For The IInspiration

A new team name for Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay?

Former WWE tag-team The IIconics have potentially revealed their new group name going forward after a trademark filing.

Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, who were formerly known as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay in WWE, were released by the promotion in a round of budget cuts in April.

The duo have made clear their desire to get back to working together, having been split up by WWE and put on different brands at the end of 2020, with Lee and McKay even starting their own podcast in the last couple of months.

Once known as the IIconics, the duo appear to be heading in a similar direction going forward, with Cassandra Lee MacIntosh filing a trademark request last week for the name 'The IInspiration' with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The description for the filing reads: Mark For: THE IINSPIRATION trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.

The full filing can be viewed here.

Having been released by WWE in April, Lee and McKay's respective no-compete clauses will be expiring in mid July.
