A former WWE talent made their Ring of Honor debut at the promotion's TV tapings from Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday night.

AEW/ROH currently have a residency at Esports Stadium for AEW Collision and Ring of Honor. Following tapings on Saturday night, Ring of Honor held another round of tapings on Sunday, during which Sidney Akeem (FKA Reggie and Scrypts) made his ROH debut.

Akeem went one-on-one with fellow WWE alumni Johnny TV, ultimately losing to the former TNA World Champion. If Akeem has been signed to a deal with AEW/ROH is unknown.

Akeem was previously a part of WWE from January 2020 until his contract was allowed to expire in June 2024. He began his run as Reginald, a sommelier, before he transitioned to Scrypts in NXT. During his time in WWE, Reggie was linked with the likes of Carmella, Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax. He also became a four-time 24/7 Champion.

Akeem revealed one scrapped pitch that he had in WWE would have seen him be kidnapped by a mob before being saved by Flo from Progressive Insurance.
