Former WWE Talent Konnor Debuts In IMPACT Wrestling

A return for Konnor

Former WWE Superstar Konnor made his IMPACT debut on Thursday's episode of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV.

Konnor, performing as Big Kon, was in action in the opening contest of the show against former IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander.

The night didn't go well for Big Kon, though, as Alexander picked up the win after two minutes with an Ankle Lock. The Walking Weapon then refused to relinquish the hold which resulted in security and Scott D'Amore coming out to halt Alexander's attack.

Upon the segment's conclusion, Alexander had been removed from Team IMPACT at No Surrender and was suspended by D'Amore.

Thursday's match won't be Big Kon's only IMPACT match. He was also in action against Eddie Edwards at the latest tapings and that match is expected to air at some point.

Big Kon has spent much of his career in WWE across two runs, first from 2005 until 2007 and then from 2010 to 2019. He is most famous for his time in The Ascension with Viktor and they were the fourth NXT Tag Team Champions, holding the title for 364 days. They moved to the main roster soon after but were utilised as an undercard tag team.

Since their releases in 2019, Konnor and Viktor have continued teaming at independent wrestling shows.
