Former WWE Talent Returns To IMPACT Wrestling

A former WWE star is back in IMPACT Wrestling

A former star is back in IMPACT Wrestling, making their return to the promotion during the Thursday, June 29 edition of IMPACT TV.

Chris Sabin defended the X-Division Championship against Trey Miguel on Thursday night and just as Sabin was about to win the match with his Cradle Shock finisher, Zachary Wentz suddenly hit the ring to draw the disqualification. Wentz and Miguel then beat down Sabin until Alex Shelley made his way to the squared circle for the save.

Wentz and Miguel cut a promo later in the show, with The Rascalz reforming in IMPACT Wrestling in the process as they confirmed they were back together and ready to take what is theirs.

Wentz previously wrestled full-time for IMPACT from 2018 until November 2020 as part of The Rascalz with Trey Miguel and Dezmond Xavier. Wentz and Xavier then left IMPACT to join WWE, being repackaged as Nash Carter and Wes Lee of MSK. They went on to become two-time NXT Tag Team Champions.

Wentz was released by WWE in April of 2022 after photos from 2015 of him impersonating Adolf Hitler were published online. Wentz apologised for the photos and he has since been booked regularly on the independent wrestling scene.
