Four More Names Announced For WWE Royal Rumble Matches
The event is just one week away
A total of four individuals were added to the men's and women's Royal Rumble matches on Friday.
Prior to Friday's SmackDown, both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus declared for the men's Rumble match. McIntyre won the 2020 match, while Sheamus took the 2012 incarnation.
During the actual SmackDown broadcast, Braun Strowman declared for the men's bout. Strowman won the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah.
For the women's bout, Shayna Baszler declared her entry during a vignette on Friday's SmackDown. Baszler was the runner-up of the 2020 women's bout.
The current card for the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble, taking place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, includes the following:
* Men's Royal Rumble: Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, Rey Mysterio, Gunther, Cody Rhodes, Omos, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and 16 more TBA
* Women's Royal Rumble: Liv Morgan, Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and 25 more TBA
* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens
* Raw Women's: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
* Pitch Black match: Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight
