Gable Steveson Provides Update On When He Will Make His Full-Time WWE Debut

Gable Steveson on his WWE future

Despite signing for the company in 2021, Gable Steveson has yet to appear on WWE TV full-time, instead making sporadic appearances at WrestleMania 38, and on a December 2022 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

There have been reports that the Olympic gold medallist has struggled with professional wrestling, with a timetable of debuting after WrestleMania 39 set by Steveson having came and went without another appearance from the amateur wrestling standout.

Steveson could be popping up on WWE TV again soon, however, as he told AP News: "I am still doing my thing. I have changed my diet, my body appearance. I wanted to be the best thing ever so when I did go on TV, it was going to be a sight that nobody has seen before. My time is coming and it's coming sooner than a lot of people think."

Alongside his pro wrestling training, Steveson has continued to train for amateur wrestling and he recently returned to the sport in April 2023 at the US Open. The 23-year-old is aiming to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris as he feels he didn't have the full Olympic experience in Tokyo due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
