Gail Kim's IMPACT 1000 Match Revealed

Gail Kim's first match since her retirement at IMPACT Rebellion 2019 has been revealed.

It was previously announced Kim would be returning to the squared circle for IMPACT 1000 and it has since been revealed Kim will team with Awesome Kong (who is also coming out of retirement for the match), Trinity, Jordynne Grace, and a mystery partner against Deonna Purrazzo, Angelina Love, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, and a mystery partner. 

IMPACT 1000 will be taped on Saturday, September 9 in White Plains, New York. The episode will air the following Thursday. 

Kim performed for IMPACT Wrestling across two runs, first between 2005 and 2008 before she returned in 2011 and remained an active performer until first retiring in 2017. She has worked behind the scenes as a producer since 2018. 

Other matches announced for IMPACT 1000 include Alex Shelley vs. Trey Miguel for the IMPACT World Championship and Team 3D teaming together for the first time in seven years. Ultimate X will also return, as will Feast or Fired.
