Gunther Unable To Leave The United States For Next Six Months, Will Miss Elimination Chamber 2024
Gunther will not be at Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia
WWE visits an array of different countries every year, and even more so now with premium live events taking place overseas, but someone who will be unable to join WWE on their travels is the record-breaking Intercontinental Champion Gunther.
Austria’s largest newspaper Krone ran a story revealing that after competing on WWE’s latest European tour, strict regulations regarding his residence in Orlando, Florida will mean that Gunther is not allowed to leave the US for six months. This means he won’t be able to join WWE for their huge premium live event, Elimination Chamber 2024, in Perth, Australia.
Gunther is seeing the positives behind this though, as he noted that he would be able to spend more time with his wife, former WWE NXT UK alumni Jinny, who he only saw for a select number of days over the last month. Whether this creates any issues for his Intercontinental Title reign is unclear, though it has been common for several champions to miss premium live events under Triple H, as he runs shows with much smaller match cards.
