'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan Undergoes Emergency Surgery

Best wishes to 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan

Former WWE and WCW star 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan is currently recovering from emergency surgery.

Duggan's wife Debra announced on Wednesday that the WWE Hall Of Famer was due to undergo emergency surgery, tweeting: "Back where we don't want to be. Please pray for Jim and his doctors as he has emergency surgery this morning. Thank you, Debra."

Four hours later, Debra posted a photo of Duggan giving a thumbs up and she noted in an update: "Out of surgery and back in his room. Everything went well. Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and good thoughts. You can keep them coming in."

Duggan has suffered from health issues over the past few years and he underwent a heart operation in March 2019 after an atrial fibrillation scare in late 2018. 'Hacksaw' then suffered from a serious infection in 2019 which required two operations within 24 hours.

Famous for his full-time runs in WWE and WCW from 1987 until 2001, Duggan continued to wrestle on the independent wrestling scene until 2019 with his trusty two-by-four in tow. He was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2011.
