Kevin Dunn learned that a WWE Hall of Famer's contract with the company was close to coming to an end. So, Kevin made sure said Hall of Famer got his Hall of Fame hands on a new deal.

The Hall of Famer in question, of course, is Jerry 'The King' Lawler.

Lawler appeared on this week's WWE Raw during a segment where a whole host of Superstars who will (probably) never win the Universal Championship were lining up outside Vince McMahon's office door to ask for a shot at Brock Lesnar's title.

Jerry emerged from Vince's office, smiled, and that was that - the Memphis crowd loved it, because it's Memphis and Lawler is held in high regard in that part of the world.

On top of being handed a new contract, Jerry will return to the commentary table to call the men's Royal Rumble match alongside Michael Cole and JBL inside Pheonix's Chase Stadium in just under two weeks time. Jerry also called last year's match, won, of course, by Shinsuke Nakamura.

Jerry also mentioned that his new contract included a raise, so good for him.
