Hangman Page Vs. Jon Moxley Set For AEW Revolution

Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley set to battle again at AEW Revolution

After months of animosity following an accidental concussion, Jon Moxley and Hangman Page are set to square off one more time at AEW’s upcoming Revolution 2023 pay-per-view on March 5.

Both men have one win apiece - not counting Moxley’s referee stoppage win over Hangman - and after Page defeated Kip Sabian in singles action on the February 15 edition of AEW Dynamite, Moxley came out to lambast the former AEW World Champion on the mic, claiming that Hangman won’t defeat him again. Hangman fired back saying he wants to take on Moxley once more at Revolution, and after Dark Order came out to get in Moxley’s face, Moxley said he’ll fight Hangman in a Texas Death Match at the pay-per-view.

The animosity started in October 2022 when Hangman landed awkwardly off a Moxley lariat in an AEW World Championship match, suffering a concussion and missing three months of TV. Hangman returned in January 2023, defeating Moxley on the Jan 11 edition of Dynamite, with Moxley getting a win back on February 1.

Announced for AEW Revolution 2023:

  • MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - 60-Minute Iron Man Match for the AEW World Championship
  • The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. TBA vs. TBA - Four-Way for the World Tag Team Championships
  • Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow - TNT Championship
  • Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley - Texas Death Match
