A heel turn closed out the November 8 edition of WWE NXT from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter defended the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships against Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons in the main event in a rematch from October 25 and the result was more decisive on this occasion.

Zoey Stark went for a Lariat to Katana Chance down the stretch but Chance moved out of the way and Stark almost ran straight into her partner. She stopped just in time but the momentary miscommunication gave the champions the upper hand and they took advantage, catching Lyons with a Double Superkick to take her out of the match. Chance and Carter then worked over Stark, putting her away following their 450 Splash-Neckbreaker finisher.

After the match, Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons looked to hand the belts to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance but Stark refused to let go of her belt, instead wrenching it from Carter and using it as a weapon to flatten Lyons. Stark then claimed Lyons ruined everything for her before she stood over her former tag team partner as NXT went off the air.

Lyons and Stark had been a tag team since September. Stark had become increasingly frustrated in recent weeks, failing to control her temper during a recent singles loss to Indi Hartwell on November 1.
