Hook Is Officially "All Elite"

He had quite an impressive debut

Team Taz member Hook had his debut match on Friday night's edition of AEW Rampage, and was affirmed as a member of the roster shortly afterward.

Hook defeated Fuego del Sol on last night's card, choking him out with his father's old katahajime (Tazmission). The brief match earned raves for the debuting Hook's refined strikes and move transitions, as well as his ring presence. Taz was on commentary for his son's debut.

Following the match, Tony Khan tweeted, "It’s official! Welcome to the team, @730hook and congratulations on your tremendous debut win tonight on #AEWRampage".

Hook began appearing on AEW broadcasts late in 2020 as a silent member of his father's heel group. He soon developed a cult following based solely on his presence as a background character, flanking the likes of Taz, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and Powerhouse Hobbs.

According to a note from Fightful Select, Hook's fundamental understanding of wrestling was said to be "evident" in his first training session. He trained extensively with both QT Marshall and Create A Pro Wrestling, and is said to gotten some early help from MJF.
