How Vince McMahon Feels About WWE Shows Being 'Hijacked' By Fans

Does Vince McMahon get annoyed when WWE fans 'hijack' the show?

From beach balls, to "Hey Bayley!" in Glasgow, Scotland, to repeated chants for Daniel Bryan in 2013 when WWE tried to build to a unification match between John Cena and Randy Orton, WWE fans haven't been afraid to make their presence known during broadcasts, much to the annoyance of some behind the scenes.

The scenarios have often been referred to as fans "hijacking" WWE TV shows and Brian "Road Dogg" James revealed on his Oh...You Didn't Know podcast how Vince McMahon feels about such situations.

"No, he's probably one of the ones that didn't get hot about it. Because I think he sees from a higher elevation than I do. I get hot about it, because I'm a performer and I know he is too, so I don't understand. But maybe he gets it, 'As long as they're doing something they're getting their money's worth and here they are.' And I know that was always Cena's mentality too. I don't know, I get offended a little bit. And I get it, you're saying what you want or you're doing, you know what I mean? But I don't know, I don't know where to land, but I get irritated by it. I think that bigger-picture mentality is probably the right one to take, I'm just not a good person [laughs]," Road Dogg said.

Vince McMahon is once again at the top of WWE, having returned to the organisation in January 2023 and sold the company to Endeavor. WWE will now merge with UFC later this year and McMahon will serve as the Executive Chairman of the new parent company. He is also the head of creative again since the sale was made public on Monday, April 3.
