Hulk Hogan is back in the WWE Hall Of Fame after, as the company put it in a brief statement, a "three-year suspension."

The statement on WWE.com read: "After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame."

The Hulkster was banished from the WWE Universe back in the summer of 2015 after he was caught making racist comments on a leaked tape. His legend’s contract was terminated, and the company made sure there was no mention of his name whatsoever on Raw, SmackDown, or otherwise. However, as time went on, WWE's stance appeared to slacken. His name was heard on the company's weekly shows while you'd also see him in packages looking back at the past.

Hogan himself hasn't been shy whenever conversation about a return to WWE cropped up during his time away. Just last month, he claimed talks regarding a return to the company were "

moving quickly.

Rumours of a return for Hulkamania intensified on social media over the weekend after several sources claimed to have seen the 64-year-old on a flight to Cleveland, OH - just two hours away from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, the home of the Extreme Rules pay per view. Now that he's officially back in the fold, an appearance tonight now cannot be out of the question.
