IMPACT World Title Match Official For No Surrender 2023

IMPACT No Surrender 2023 will feature a World Championship Match

IMPACT Wrestling have officially confirmed that the IMPACT World Championship will be on the line at the upcoming No Surrender IMPACT Plus special on February 24.

On the January 26 edition of IMPACT Wrestling, IMPACT held the first ever Golden Six Shooter elimination match, with former IMPACT/TNA World Champions Moose, Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Rhino, Chris Sabin, and Callihan all battling for a shot at Josh Alexander. Eventually, Rich Swann emerged victorious, getting a shot at the title he lost to AEW’s Kenny Omega in 2021.

Swann originally held the title from October 2020 until Rebellion 2021, putting the gold on the line against then-AEW World Champion Omega in a winner takes all match. Omega won and began his run as the ‘Belt Collector’, whilst Swann never got his rematch. Swann will be hoping he has what it takes to end Josh Alexander’s record-setting title reign, with ‘The Walking Weapon’ holding the belt since Rebellion 2022.

Matches announced for IMPACT No Surrender 2023:

  • Josh Alexander (c) vs. Rich Swann - Impact World Championship
  • Mickie James (c) vs. Masha Slamovich - Knockouts World Championship
