Impact Wrestling Confirms Kenny Omega's Appearance For Tuesday

What will "The Cleaner" say?

AEW Dynamite's "Winter is Coming" special concluded with Don Callis promising that new champion Kenny Omega would appear on Tuesday night's episode of Impact Wrestling, in order to address his controversial victory over Jon Moxley.

Impact has now confirmed Omega's appearance for the December 8 broadcast on Twitter

They've also written on their website, "It has been the talk of the wrestling world since Wednesday, but it is still hard to believe. Nevertheless, we have the confirmation: this Tuesday the brand new, reigning AEW world champion Kenny Omega will appear on IMPACT! on AXS TV. There’s so much speculation as to what is happening, what it all means and what comes next – on Tuesday the wrestling world will get some answers.”

The matches and angles for this coming Tuesday's episode of Impact have already been taped, as Impact has ceased production for the remainder of 2020. It's unknown whether Omega taped something in Nashville previously with Impact, or if his forthcoming appearance is fresh footage being added to the show.

The exact nature of AEW and Impact's working relationship is not known at this time. Matt and Nick Jackson recently spoke of wanting to broker a partnership between the two sides for some time.
