IMPACT Wrestling Reveal Details For Slammiversary 2022

More about IMPACT Slammiversary 2022 revealed

IMPACT Wrestling held their Rebellion pay-per-view on Saturday, April 23, and the promotion revealed details about their next major event during the show.

IMPACT announced they will return to pay-per-view on Sunday, June 19 with Slammiversary. The show will mark the 20-year anniversary of TNA Wrestling's first weekly pay-per-view, which took place back on June 19, 2002.

As part of the Slammiversary announcement, IMPACT noted they will return 'home' to Nashville, Tennessee, although a venue for the event hasn't been announced as of yet.

Nashville, in particular the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, quickly became the home of TNA Wrestling following the promotion's formation and tapings took place at what became known as the TNA Asylum until September 2004, when the company moved to Orlando's Universal Studios.

IMPACT then took up permanent residency in Nashville again during the COVID-19 pandemic, taping shows from Skyway Studios.

Slammiversary has been one of IMPACT's biggest events since 2003. Last year's show was headlined by a No DQ Match for the IMPACT World Title between Kenny Omega and Sami Callihan.
