IMPACT Wrestling Reviving Gut Check Tryouts For Upcoming UK Tour

IMPACT Wrestling are reviving an old concept for their upcoming UK Invasion Tour.

IMPACT have announced that two Gut Check tryout events will be held next month. The first event will be held on Wednesday, October 25 in Glasgow, Scotland with no fans in attendance. Fans will be able to attend the second Gut Check event on Sunday, October 29 in Coventry, England. 

Gut Check will allow pro wrestlers to "showcase their skill and ability in front of a distinguished panel of judges." The winners will earn developmental deals with IMPACT Wrestling. They will receive a bursary to train at the Can-Am Dojo in Windsor, Ontario, Canada for up to six months. 

The judges for Gut Check will be IMPACT President Scott D'Amore, Gail Kim, and Joe Hendry. Wrestlers can register for Gut Check tryouts for £80. 

IMPACT's UK Invasion Tour will kick off in Glasgow on Thursday, October 26. The promotion will then head to Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Friday, October 27 to tape the Turning Point IMPACT Plus special. Will Ospreay will be in action.

The UK Invasion Tour will conclude with two shows in Coventry on October 28 and October 29. Matches from the events will air as part of IMPACT TV.
