IMPACT Wrestling Star Suffers Injury

IMPACT Wrestling will be without a top talent

IMPACT Wrestling will be without one of their featured performers for the next several weeks.

Independent wrestling promotion Beyond Wrestling announced this week that Jonathan Gresham sustained an injury during training and he will be out of action for the next four to six weeks. Gresham was scheduled to face Ryan Clancy at Beyond Wrestling's 'Americanrana' show on Sunday, August 13.

"BREAKING: Jonathan Gresham sustained an injury yesterday during training and will be out 4-6 weeks. We wish The Octopus a speedy recovery and hope to find a new opponent for @FancyRyanClancy for #Americanrana this Sunday in Worcester," Beyond Wrestling tweeted.

Gresham has been a part of IMPACT Wrestling on a full-time basis since December 2022. He last wrestled for the promotion at the July 28 TV tapings in Chicago that saw The Octopus and Mike Bailey lose to The Rascalz. The match aired on August 3.

Beyond IMPACT, the former ROH World Champion has continued to perform regularly on the independents, facing the likes of Angels, Eli Isom, and Barrett Brown.
