Indy Talent To Make AEW Debut At First UK Show

Michael Oku to debut in AEW

A star of the United Kingdom independent wrestling scene will make their All Elite Wrestling at the promotion's first show in the UK.

AEW plan to hold their first event in the UK later this year and Chris Jericho told Michael Oku on Talk is Jericho that he will ensure he is booked on the UK show.

"You'll be on the [UK] show for sure. I'll guarantee you that. I'll guarantee it. No problem at all. That's easy. That's easy to do. Done. Done deal," Jericho said.

Oku and Jericho recently faced off on night two of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Battle of Los Angeles 2023 in January. The match was The Painmaker's PWG debut and saw the Jericho Appreciation Society take on Oku, Evil Uno, Jonathan Gresham, Kevin Blackwood, and SB KENTo.

Michael Oku was a part of the Battle of Los Angeles tournament, losing to Konosuke Takeshita in the first round. He is a regular in RevPro, among other UK indy promotions.
