Infinito Debuts At AEW: Dark Tapings

Eagle eyed viewers may recognise the mysterious luchador

Several debuts occurred at the latest round of AEW: Dark tapings, from former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tony Nese, to Fuego II of Too Fast Too Fuego. But in amongst the debuts was that of the mysterious luchador Infinito, who was in action against Ray Jaz.

Fans knew something was afoot and instantly tried to figure out who Infinitio was.

Had he stepped through the forbidden door from AAA? Apparently not. Was he Christopher Daniels in disguise? Not likely as Daniels was on the Jericho Cruise. Was it an associate of The Super Frogs? Also not plausible, as The Master of the Airplane Spin was working as a babyface.

In the end the mystery was solved, when Infinito’s exposed hands (and physical similarities and wrestling prowess) were revealed to be the same as ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson.

Now we’re not ones to say whether Infinito was Danielson under a mask, but have you ever seen the two in the same room at the same time? Doesn’t matter that Danielson was at the tapings having taken on Aaron Solo, there’s more to this story, I’m sure of it…
