Injured Star In France Ahead Of WWE Backlash

An injured WWE talent is in France ahead of the company's Backlash pay-per-view. 

Charlotte Flair revealed on Instagram that she is currently in Paris, seemingly exploring the sights with husband Andrade. If Flair is planned to appear at Backlash or on Friday's episode of SmackDown is unknown.

Flair is currently out of action after tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus following an awkward fall from the top rope during her match with Asuka on December 8, 2023. 

Another name spotted in France ahead of Backlash is John Cena, who was pictured in Nice. Cena is currently in the area filming 'Heads of State', an Amazon Studios movie starring, in addition to Cena, Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. 

The May 3 episode of SmackDown and WWE Backlash on May 4 will emanate from the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.
