Jade Cargill Will Officially Debut As A SmackDown Superstar Next Week

Jade Cargill will be live as a SmackDown roster member on next week's show

It has been seven months since Jade Cargill signed with WWE, but fans now know the official brand where Cargill will make her home. After several months of appearing backstage on all three WWE brands, in addition to a noteworthy appearance in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match, it is SmackDown who have finally tied her down and made her a member of their roster.

In a vignette on SmackDown last night, Cargill revealed that she’d chosen to sign with the blue brand, and next week she would be making her first official appearance as a SmackDown superstar. It isn’t known what she will be doing on SmackDown as of yet though. Cargill had this to say in her promo.

“Let's make things clear, I didn't come here to be the next anyone. Jade Cargill is a once-in-a-lifetime generational talent. The type of presence that makes everyone sit up and stand up straight when I enter. I don't even have to speak - and yet I'm the trending topic. I am the headline. They're going to build statues of me - and you don't have to like it, but you damn sure can't deny it. And that's why I'm taking my talents to SmackDown.”

This adds yet another top women’s star to the SmackDown roster after both Naomi and Tiffany Stratton joined the brand following their Royal Rumble appearances. It was reported this week that WWE still have "big plans" for Cargill going forwards.
