Three months after he stepped away from the industry, Jake Atlas has returned to professional wrestling.

All Elite Wrestling taped episodes of Dark and Dark: Elevation from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday, December 28. Atlas was in action at the Dark: Elevation taping and defeated Serpentico in his debut match for the promotion.

AEW President Tony Khan then shook Atlas' hand following the match, but if the 27-year-old has signed with the company has yet to be confirmed.

Tuesday was Atlas' first match since September, when he announced he would be stepping away from professional wrestling to focus on his mental health and explore different industries.

The indie standout had previously been signed with WWE for almost two years but he was released by the company in August 2021 after time on the NXT brand. Atlas then wrestled in Game Changer Wrestling and at Ring Of Honor's Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view in September before he announced he would be stepping away from the ring.
