James Drake Overjoyed About GYV TNA Debut

James Drake is very happy with his TNA debut at Hard To Kill

James Drake & Zack Gibson of the Grizzled Young Veterans made their debuts in TNA Wrestling last weekend, competing in a fatal four way for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at the Hard To Kill 2024 PLE, and followed this up with an appearance at the TNA Snake Eyes taping the day after.

They may have come up short in their TNA World Tag Team Title pursuits, losing out to Ace Austin and Chris Bey of ABC, but James Drake is still over the moon with his introduction to TNA. Taking to X, Drake spoke on how much the debut meant to him, before issuing a warning to the tag team division.

“You only live once.

I can't put into words how much this meant to me.

Life is good.

Life will continue to be good.

If you've got dreams, chase them. You owe it to yourself.

@IMPACTWRESTLING roster...

Grit. Your. Teeth.”

In the post, Drake also shared a picture of himself with a TNA UK IMPACT Tour ticket from a 2008 show in Liverpool. This was posted along with the tweet to further nail down his message of chasing dreams and them coming true.
