Jamie Noble Wins Final WWE Match

Jamie Noble retires following a win in his final WWE match

Seven years after his last match, Jamie Noble returned to the squared circle for one final outing in a WWE ring on Sunday, December 11.

WWE were in Noble's home state of West Virginia on Sunday and the former ROH World Champion announced ahead of the show that he would have his final match at the event. Noble then teamed with Braun Strowman, Butch, and Ridge Holland to defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and The Usos. Noble picked up the win for his team following a Tiger Bomb to Sami Zayn.

Noble has yet to comment on the match but Sami Zayn did tweet: "An emotional night. I'm humbled & honored to have had the privilege of sharing the ring with Jamie Noble tonight in his final match. Very few actually know how much Jamie has contributed to this industry. One of the great minds for the business & an unsung hero at @WWE. Grateful."

Noble initially retired in 2009 due to the cumulative effects of several injuries. He then had a handful of matches at house shows in 2012 and 2013 before six matches in 2014 and 2015 on TV while he was part of J&J Security with Joey Mercury.

During his WWE career, Noble was a former Cruiserweight Champion. He now works behind the scenes on the WWE main roster in a producer role. Leading into his final match, Noble did a training camp with Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey to prepare for the encounter.
