Jaxson Ryker Reportedly Had 'An Incredible Amount Of Heat' Prior to WWE Release

Ryker was released earlier this month

Jaxson Ryker reportedly had 'an incredible amount of heat' with some of his WWE peers at the time of his release from the promotion.

Ryker was let go on November 18 by WWE in the latest round of budget-cut related departures by the company but, according to Fightful Select, there was a substantial level of heat on the 39-year-old during his time in WWE.

Ryker, along with Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler, initially debuted on WWE SmackDown as The Forgotten Sons but the entire stable had been taken off TV following contentious Tweets from Ryker in support of President Donald Trump during the Black Lives Matter movement and George Floyd-related protests.

The report indicates that many backstage had an issue with how both Blake and Cutler had also been taken off TV for something Ryker had done, only for Ryker to then return to WWE shows prior to either of his former stablemates.

It is noted that many expected Ryker to be one of the names trimmed from the roster in earlier WWE cuts this year, with a member of the creative team saying that it became apparent that Ryker wasn't getting over once fans returned to the product in July.
