Jay Lethal Match Set For ROH Supercard Of Honor

Jay Lethal back in ROH at Supercard Of Honor

Two All Elite Wrestling talents will face each other at Ring Of Honor's return show.

ROH will return from their self-imposed hiatus with Supercard Of Honor on Friday, April 1, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, and the promotion's new owner and AEW President Tony Khan announced Jay Lethal will go one on one with Lee Moriarty at the show.

This will be the first time Lethal and Moriarty have faced each other, although they have interacted previously in the 2021 Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal.

Lethal is very much synonymous with Ring Of Honor, having performed for the promotion over two stints, first from 2003 until 2006 before his return in 2011. He initially left ROH after the promotion announced their hiatus in October of 2021, signing with All Elite Wrestling, but he later replaced Bandido in the main event of December's Final Battle pay-per-view.

Moriarty, on the other hand, is new to Ring Of Honor, having only debuted in the promotion at Death Before Dishonor 2021.

Already set for Supercard Of Honor is Original ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. ROH World Champion Bandido to crown an Undisputed ROH World Champion, an ROH World Tag Team Title match between champions The Briscoes and FTR, and Swerve Strickland vs. Alex Zayne. Joe Hendry and Ninja Mack will also be in action.
