Jay Lethal To Receive ROH World Title Shot

A new challenger has emerged for Eddie Kingston

Last night’s AEW Collision saw a new challenger for the ROH World Championship get decided, though it came with a whole load of shenanigans.

The ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston took on Jeff Jarrett in a Memphis Street Fight, with the stipulation being if Jarrett won, his ally Jay Lethal would receive a ROH World Championship match. Kingston nearly had the match won, but Jarrett’s crew of Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and Karen Jarrett emerged to beat down Kingston, laying him out and allowing Jarrett to pick up the victory.

Kingston didn’t take kindly to this, calling out Lethal in a promo later in the night for aligning with the “carny” Jarrett. He said that when they finally face off for the ROH World Championship, Lethal should leave his “family” at home. Lethal has a long history with ROH, previously reigning as ROH World Champion on two occasions with the longest cumulative time spent with the gold around his waist in the promotion’s history.
