Jay White Signs With AEW, Returns On Dynamite

"Switchblade" is All Elite

"Switchblade" Jay White made his return to AEW on Wednesday night's Dynamite on Long Island, helping Bullet Club teammate Juice Robinson beat up Ricky Starks in the opening segment.

Starks was due to face Robinson on tonight's Dynamite. Robinson was already in the ring when Starks was in the midst of his entrance. Suddenly, Starks' music stopped, and was replaced by White's, who then stormed the ring to aid Robinson in beating down Starks.

Starks briefly got control of the skirmish, but was ultimately laid out, with White concluding the beating by landing the Blade Runner.

Tony Khan then tweeted the standard "... is All Elite" graphic, simply writing, "Switchblade @JayWhiteNZ is ALL ELITE!"

After dropping a Loser Leaves NJPW match to Eddie Kingston in February, White had been rumored for a move to WWE. However, reports this week indicated that those rumors had seemingly gone cold.

Former IWGP World Heavyweight champion White previously wrestled several matches for AEW, including in a four-way IWGP World title match at Forbidden Door in June of last year.
