JBL: WWE Should Build The Company Around Bobby Lashley

The All Mighty has a WWE Championship match on Monday...

John 'Bradshaw' Layfield believes WWE should build the company around Bobby Lashley, saying the superstar is going to win the WWE Championship and hold the belt for a 'long, long time'.

Lashley has enjoyed an incredible year since linking up with MVP. The 44-year-old won the United States Championship, has looked incredible in the ring, and is set to challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship on RAW next Monday.

The mixed martial artist is reportedly set to be in the WWE title picture at WrestleMania 37 and JBL feels the company needs to keep Lashley in that picture for a long time to come.

Hailing Lashley's look, ability and presentation, the former WWE champion believes Lashley has all the tools to be the man that carries the promotion on his back.

Speaking on WWE's The Bump, JBL said: "I think – I said this Sunday – they need to build the company around Bobby Lashley; he’s that good. He looks that good, and he’s good-looking as a human being. He’s an incredible athlete. He’s calling out guys that you wouldn’t even whisper on calling out -Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar. You build a company around Bobby Lashley.

"I’m interested to see if The Miz can find a way to survive because I think The Miz is the perfect champion right now. But I think in the future, Bobby Lashley is going to win that championship. He’s going to be a future champion for a long, long time."
