Jeff Hardy Intimidated By Prospect Of Feuding With The Young Bucks

Jeff Hardy on feuding with The Young Bucks

While the teams haven't faced off inside the squared circle in five years, a match between The Hardys and The Young Bucks was teased on AEW Dynamite earlier this month and it appears the two teams may clash at Double Or Nothing on May 29.

Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted Podcast about The Young Bucks vs. FTR II, Jeff Hardy admitted that the prospect of feuding with Matt and Nick Jackson was intimidating.

"Yeah, but Matt [Hardy] asked me after - like, Private Party's amazing just like FTR and Young Bucks. [After] The Young Bucks and FTR match, Matt asked me, 'What did that match mean to you? What'd you think of it?' And I said, 'I don't know. It's just amazing' and he said, 'It's intimidating, because we're older' and the idea of going through a programme with The Young Bucks right now is very intimidating, but it'll still be great," Jeff said.

The Young Bucks and The Hardys had a handful of matches for various independent wrestling promotions between 2014 and 2016 before they feuded over the ROH World Tag Team Championships in Ring Of Honor. Their storyline came to an end at Supercard Of Honor XI in a Ladder Match, only one day before The Hardy Boyz returned to WWE.
