Jeff Hardy Planning To Revive Willow Alter Ego In TNA

The character will return with a new look.

TNA fans can expect Jeff Hardy's masked alter-ego Willow to make an appearance in the future, with the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion confirming the plans during a recent appearance on the Battleground podcast

"Well, I can tell you that it'll look different than it did last time, because there is a new version of the Willow face place plate mask in the making, and it's looking pretty sick, like sick in a good way. So yeah, before it's all said and done, Willow will definitely return here in Total Nonstop Action," Jeff said.

Hardy originally developed the Willow persona on the independent scene during the 1990s, before bringing it to TNA in the 2010s.

Earlier this month, Jeff's brother Matt noted that the two of them were very happy in TNA and saw themselves working there for some time to come.

Jeff also opened up about his continued sobriety and how it has affected his creativity during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, saying:

"Oh, clear-minded. To be a sober, innovative Jeff Hardy, I mean, it just… it's almost childlike, the feeling of how it felt before I ever gave into drugs or alcohol. We were obsessed with pro wrestling. That was it.

"That's what, that was our main concern. That obsession became our dream that came true as pro wrestlers. So I feel like I'm back there in an older body. I think a lot more with my heart now, instead of my mind. I try my best not to let my mind play tricks on me".
