Jeff Hardy Has Surgically Repaired Shoulder Evaluated, Could Be Back Before WWE WrestleMania 34
Could the Charismatic Enigma become Brother Nero before 'Mania?
Feb 24, 2018
Former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy could be back on our screens before WrestleMania 34 on April 8.
The Charismatic Enigma injured his shoulder back in September with
PWInsiderreporting that he was in Birmingham, AL this past Tuesday being evaluated ahead of a return. Recovery from rotator cuff surgery usually takes 4-6 months meaning a return before 'Mania is possible.
It's worth noting at this stage, however, the outcome of that evaluation is unknown, and if the news were to be positive if WWE actually have plans for him in the buildup to The Grandest Stage of them All taking place.
Jeff's immediate future is unsure both in terms of health
and
character. Since his injury, Woken/Broken Matt Hardy has debuted on WWE television with a bizarre feud against Bray Wyatt based on nothing more than laughing set to rumble on this Sunday at the Elimination Chamber network special.
Should Jeff return in the coming weeks, those in charge of Raw have a big decision to make - do they allow Jeff to continue in his
mere mortal state
as a singles competitor in the hope of recapturing the magic of his heyday, or do they have him become part of his brother's Broken Universe - the latter is a distinct possibility after it was revealed last month that
Matt is now listed as the owner of TNA’s trademark applicationsfor ‘Broken Matt’, ‘Brother Nero’, ‘Broken Brilliance’ and ‘Vanguard 1’.
With the Matt vs. Bray feud not exactly capturing the imagination of the WWE Universe at the moment inserting Brother Nero into the mix in the coming weeks might just be the jolt in the arm the storyline needs. We wait with bated breath...
