Jeff Hardy Vs. Sheamus "Bar Fight" Added To WWE Extreme Rules

It was announced during Friday night's episode of WWE SmackDown that Jeff Hardy will face Sheamus at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view in a "bar fight".

During an episode of Miz TV with Hardy as guest, The Miz suggested the match stipulation, with John Morrison adding that Hardy would have a chance to conquer two enemies at once: Sheamus, and his own long-standing issues with drinking.

The match is a continuation of a rivalry that began in May, where Sheamus framed Hardy as the driver of a car that ran down Elias, while poking at Hardy's history of drug and alcohol issues. Sheamus defeated Hardy in a regular bout at Backlash on June 14.

The updated card for WWE Extreme Rules, taking place next Sunday from the Performance Center, now includes seven matches:
