Jeff Jarrett To Make AEW In-Ring Debut At Full Gear

Jeff Jarrett will officially wrestle for AEW at Full Gear 2022

Old rivalries never die, and at AEW Full Gear 2022 Jeff Jarrett will officially make his AEW in-ring debut when he teams with Jay Lethal against Darby Allin, and his old rival Sting.

The match at Full Gear will mark the first match between Jarrett and Sting since 2010, when Sting, D’Angelo Dinero, and Kevin Nash defeated Jarrett and Samoa Joe in handicap action at TNA Bound for Glory 2010. The two clashed regularly in TNA and in the latter days of WCW.

Jarrett made his TV debut for AEW on November 2, attacking Darby Allin after the former TNT Champion lost to Jay Lethal in singles action. Many assumed it would lead to tag action at Full Gear, with Sting undefeated in competition since joining AEW at Winter is Coming 2020.

This will mark Jarrett’s third match in 2022, having wrestled at The WRLD on GCW in January, and at Ric Flair’s Last Match in July. Sting, on the other hand, has already wrestled six times in 2022, with his last match occurring at AEW Rampage Grand Slam in September.
