Jeremy Borash Debuts As Announcer On WWE 205 Live

A veteran announcer arrives on WWE TV...

He's been an announcer in other promotions, and after two years working behind the scenes in WWE, Jeremy Borash has finally debuted on company programming.

Borash made his first appearance as color commentator on Friday night's episode of 205 Live, joining Tom Phillips on headset.

Borash officially replaces Aiden English, who was let go in mid-April amid the giant wave of talent and staff cuts.

Since the inception of Impact Wrestling in 2002 (then known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action), Borash served the promotion as an interviewer, occasional announcer, and in various creative capacities. He's credited as being one of the driving creative forces behind the entire Broken Universe saga, alongside Matt Hardy.

Borash also previously worked for the short-lived World Wrestling All-Stars in broadcasting and creative roles, as well as late-stage World Championship Wrestling. He officially joined WWE as a producer in 2018.

On-screen, Borash has occasionally gotten physically involved in angles. In TNA, Borash wrestled in several matches, including one with Ethan Carter III in 2015, and later, a no-disqualification tag team match alongside Abyss, against Scott Steiner and Borash rival Josh Mathews, at the 2017 Slammiversary.
