Jerry 'The King' Lawler Reportedly Signs New WWE Deal

Lawler returned on this week's Raw

Jerry 'The King' Lawler has reportedly penned a new deal with WWE.

According to PWInsider, Lawler's contract with WWE was due to expire at the end of 2021, but the WWE Hall Of Famer has now agreed terms on a new deal with the promotion.

There is no word as to the length of Lawler's new WWE deal.

Lawler made his return to WWE television on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, appearing in a backstage segment with former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. A fan approached them for an autograph, only to really be talking to The King, who was behind them.

The December 6 episode of Raw was presented live from Lawler's hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

Lawler made his WWE debut back in December 1992 and stepped inside the WWE ring for the first time at the 1993 Royal Rumble. He was replaced as part of the Monday Night Raw announcer's team in April 2020 by Samoa Joe.
