Neidhart last appeared on WWE programming in 2007 on the 15th anniversary of Monday night Raw, but has made sporadic appearances on Total Divas alongside his daughter, Natalya.

Part of the legendary Hart family, 'The Anvil' joined the WWF when Vince McMahon bought Stu Hart's Stampede Wrestling. Originally starting off as a singles wrestler being paired with Mr Fuji, he would later team with his brother-in-law Bret Hart and would become managed by Jimmy Hart, forming the Hart Foundation in the process. He would go on to become a two time WWF World Tag Team Champion holding the titles with Bret both times as part of the Hart Foundation.

Neidhart would later compete sporadically on the independent wrestling circuits after his release from WWE, WWF at the time, in 1997. The former tag team champion has had his problems with drug related issues over the years but had recently been through rehab and was recovering from his personal demons. Back in July former WWE superstar, Chris Nowinsky revealed that Neidhart was suffering from Alzheimers.

There has been no word on the cause of death however we will keep you updated as more details emerge.
