Jimmy Havoc Vs. Darby Allin Number One Contender's Match Added To This Week's AEW Dynamite

Sounds violent...

A number one contender's match has been announced for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, with the winner getting a World title shot the following week.

Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin will go one on one in Boston in just two nights. The winner challenges Chris Jericho for the AEW World Heavyweight title the following week in Philadelphia.

Thus far in his AEW tenure, Allin has gone to a 20-minute draw with Cody Rhodes, and defeated CIMA in a match taped for tomorrow night's episode of AEW Dark.

Havoc, meanwhile, won a violent three-way "Cracker Barrel Clash" at All Out over both Allin and Joey Janela.

The two also teamed up in a six-man tag with Janela at Fight For the Fallen in July, losing to MJF, Shawn Spears, and Sammy Guevara.

The card for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite at Boston's Agganis Arena looks as follows:

*Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara vs. Dustin Rhodes and Adam Page

*Jon Moxley vs. Shawn Spears

*AEW World Tag Team Tournament quarterfinal: The Young Bucks vs. Private Party

*#1 Contender's Match: Jimmy Havoc vs. Darby Allin
