Jinder Mahal To Challenge For WWE NXT Championship

Jinder Mahal's WWE NXT run could be hindered next week.

The former WWE Champion is scheduled to challenge Bron Breakker for the NXT Title on next week's TV show from the developmental brand. The match came about on the February 14 edition of NXT after a brief confrontation between Breakker and Mahal. 

Mahal has been on NXT since January 10, joining Indus Sher to form a new faction on Tuesday nights. Mahal has only had one match so far, defeating Julius Creed. 

Also set for next week's edition of NXT is Jacy Jayne vs. Indi Hartwell. Jayne turned on her Toxic Attraction tag team partner Gigi Dolin last week and Hartwell took issue with Jayne thinking she should be at the top of the women's division to set up next week's bout. 

Ilja Dragunov will also go one-on-one with Trick Williams next week following a backstage altercation between the two competitors on Tuesday.
