Joe Gacy & Harland Kidnap Rick Steiner On WWE NXT

Rick Steiner is in for a rough week.

Following Bron Breakker's successful NXT Title defence over Gunther in the main event of Tuesday's episode of NXT, Steiner appeared on the titantron and congratulated Bron on his victory.

The camera zoomed out, though, and revealed Steiner was tied to a chair while locked inside a cage. Joe Gacy and Harland then revealed themselves as Steiner's kidnappers and Gacy announced he would "see if they could teach this old dog some new tricks."

Gacy cut several promos on Breakker throughout the night and with the kidnapping of the NXT Champion's father, he will likely receive a title shot soon.

Breakker only recently regained the NXT Championship, pinning Dolph Ziggler on the Raw after WrestleMania. He previously lost to Ziggler at Stand & Deliver on Saturday.

Both matches took place inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Rick Steiner was recently inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the 2022 class along with his brother Scott Steiner.
