John Cena Announced For WWE Raw Appearance In Boston

John Cena is set to make his first WWE outing of 2023 on March 6, with the multi-time WWE Champion set for an appearance on WWE Raw.

Cena will appear in his home town of Boston, and whilst there’s no word on what Cena will be doing on the show, it has raised speculation amongst fans as we are currently on the road to WrestleMania 39.

This will be Cena’s first appearance on WWE TV since the December 30 2022 edition of SmackDown, where Cena teamed with Kevin Owens to wrestle Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. This will also be Cena’s first Raw appearance since June 27 2022, where Cena celebrated the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut.

Whilst speculation suggests this could lead to a possible angle with Austin Theory ahead of a rumoured WrestleMania 39 match, it is more likely that this appearance will serve as a tie-in with the upcoming launch of WWE 2K23 on March 17, of which Cena is the cover star.
