John Cena: Brock Lesnar Is One Of The Best To Ever Do It In WWE

John Cena has commented on Brock Lesnar's surprise return to WWE at SummerSlam 2021, hailing The Beast as 'one of, if not the best ever'.

Lesnar closed out SummerSlam last month by making a shock comeback to the company following Cena's loss to Roman Reigns in the main event, confronting the Universal Champion before attacking Cena after the pay-per-view had gone off the air. 

Cena was delighted to be involved in such a massive surprise for the audience in the return of Lesnar.

Speaking to Dan Patrick on That Scene, Cena said: "SummerSlam, the greatest sound to hear was certainly the interest. It's that buzz before the bell rings. They want you guys to take you on this ride and this story.

"Then, surprises at the end with Brock Lesnar coming out and no one knew what the hell was going on. Those are cool when you can surprise the audience because those are rare."

When asked about Brock's ponytail, Cena added: "I didn't notice the ponytail. I noticed that he was the size of two Brock Lesnars. He looks mean and nasty no matter what. He's trying to stretch the boundaries of that to see what he can pull off. He's an anomaly. He's one of, if not the best ever."
