The previously announced John Cena appearance on Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions has been pulled from the upcoming WWE Network and Peacock schedule.

Cena's chat with Austin for his extended interview show had been noted as listed on the Peacock schedule as being a new addition for September, and had been scheduled to premiere on Sunday, 26 September 2021 on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network across the world.

However, according to PWInsider, the listing that held Cena's name has been pulled from the scheduling. In it's place, Steve Austin will instead be interviewing current WWE superstar Seth Rollins.

There is, as yet, no word as to when WWE intend to air the Austin's interview with Cena. But it appears the next in the Broken Skull Sessions schedule will be a chat with Friday Night SmackDown's Rollins instead.

The next episode of Broken Skull Sessions will air on the same day as WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions has previously featured wrestling legends such as The Undertaker, Goldberg, Kane, Bret Hart, Ric Flair and Kurt Angle, while more recent episodes have included current WWE superstars Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Bayley and Sasha Banks.
