John Cena has one eye on retiring from the squared circle, with the legendary multi-time WWE Champion recently admitting he has an ‘exit strategy’ in mind for when it’s time to finally hang up his boots/Jordans for the final time.

Whilst Cena has stated that he is looking to fully finish his time as an in-ring competitor by April 2027 (likely around the time of WrestleMania 43), in an interview on BBC’s The One Show, Cena revealed he wants his last match to take place in London:

“I’ve been an active advocate for London to be a host of WrestleMania. And a lot of people think when I go out in the middle of the ring and say that it’s just for the local moment like ‘we’re the show we want to make the show happy’. Fans in the UK WWE fans are the best, and fans in London specifically they will let you know how they feel. I don’t think I’ll be able to choose my opponent, but if I can choose a venue it would be the O2 in London,” said Cena.

Cena publicly advocated for a UK WrestleMania during the 2023 Money in the Bank event in the O2. However, whilst a UK WrestleMania is unlikely any time soon, if it did take place then it almost certainly would be in a venue far bigger than the O2.
