Johnny Gargano Hopeful Of Match With AEW's Bryan Danielson

Johnny Gargano is hopeful that he and Bryan Danielson will be able to wrestle each other once again in the future. 

Gargano and Danielson have previously locked up on the independent scene but never got the opportunity to wrestle each other during their respective times in WWE.

In the former NXT Champion's mind, Danielson is the best wrestler in the world today and would relish the opportunity to face him again.

During his most recent Twitch stream, Gargano was asked if he watched the AEW World Championship match between Danielson and 'Hangman' Adam Page at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming. 

He said: "I did [watch the match]. It was fantastic. They’re both amazingly talented. I wrestled Bryan twice on the indies both times for AIW in Cleveland. I’ve said time and time again that he’s the best wrestler in the world. I know I say a lot of people are one of the wrestlers in the world. I truly believe Bryan is the best wrestler in the world.

"For my personal opinion just because I have been in the ring with him so I kind of know from experience but I don’t know how to explain it or say why he’s the best wrestler in the world. You just got to be in there with him and you just know, you just know. Bryan is the best.

"It’s a shame that we never got a chance to – we haven’t tangled in the last couple of years but hopefully at some point down the line that can happen."
