Report: Johnny Gargano Involved In "Scary Moment" At WWE NXT Tapings

The card for NXT TakeOver: XXX is starting to take shape and the black and gold brand made the main event official yesterday as Keith Lee and Karrion Kross signed the contract for their match.

A new North American Champion will also be crowned in a Ladder match on August 22 after The Limitless One relinquished the title. So far, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest and Cameron Grimes have qualified for the bout and the final two places will be decided next week when Finn Balor takes on The Velveteen Dream and Johnny Gargano faces off against Ridge Holland.

Gargano vs. Holland almost ended in disaster, however, as John Pollock at POST Wrestling reported Johnny Wrestling "took a scary landing on his head" which caused the match to be immediately stopped. Multiple people including Triple H and Shawn Michaels checked on the former NXT Champion and Gargano was said to be okay after the incident. 

WWE's medical team also checked on Johnny TakeOver and they gave him the all-clear to restart and complete the match. Gargano even apologised to everyone for delaying the taping and Pollock confirmed the NXT Superstar was okay several minutes after the bout finished.
